Inspiring personal and professional growth
THE ORIGINS OF FUTURE STRONG EDUCATION
Founder and CEO
As a little girl, Dr. Kathryn Murray played schools with the neighbourhood children in the family garage - she had found her passion.
Kathryn began her career teaching in early childhood classrooms in Queensland, Australia. Over 25 years she taught in many different contexts and took on various roles while continuing to study so she could better serve the children in her classroom and their families.
Kathryn was invited to lecture to pre-service education students at the university level and taught into the early childhood and primary (elementary) degree programs. This career change allowed Kathryn to mix her extensive teaching experience with research and share effective teaching strategies with the student teachers. Kathryn continued to research and study and was awarded a Doctor of Education.
Kathryn’s 40+ years in the education sector has given her the opportunity to deliver Keynote presentations, conference workshops, support community organisations and parents to be all they can be.
She has developed Future Strong Education Consultancy, to support teachers, and educators in their classroom practice and provide parents with guidance on raising their children. Kathryn has blended her education background and money coaching training to help parents unpack their beliefs about money and become positive role models for their children. She consults to corporate organisations on various topics to support staff wellbeing.
Kathryn has created a revolutionary approach to designing learning and working environments to support the needs of the brain. The Brain-SET Environments Formula has received worldwide recognition and has changed many lives.
Dr. Kathryn Murray works globally online and also loves to travel throughout Australia, Europe, North America, South America, Indonesia, Asia, and Africa delivering quality consultancy, training sessions and coaching.
Kathryn has four adult children of whom she is very proud. She loves the beach, hiking, picnics and spending time with her family and friends – oh and she loves to dance.

Our Commitment to Others
We believe that giving back is one way to ensure that children across the globe have the best possible chance in life. We do that by:
• On our Rural Professional Development Road Trip we provide low cost professional development to teachers in remote and rural Australia. We drive or fly long distances to ensure that the small communities have access to a professional network and research to support their work.
• Writing free educational articles on a range of topics for educational, parenting and business magazines to support people from all walks of life.
• Connecting with teachers and parents in Australia and across the globe who seek advice and support so that they can be the best they can be for children.
• Supporting a Ugandan Orphanage with financial assistance, guidance and emotional support to the education and caregiving for 120 children, 2-16 years old in very rough conditions. Our aim is to buy land to build well constructed buildings for accommodation and schooling, have a clean, convenient water supply, and build sustainable vegetable gardens.
Donations to this cause are gratefully received. Please contact Dr. Kathryn Murray if you are interested in contributing to give these children and caring staff a better way of life.
• Providing Pro Bono training and mentoring to the teachers developing the Emaus Friends Early Years Education Centre in Awasi, a small rural town in Kenya.
